Terms of StartAuto

1. Operator and contact

2. Scope of the service

StartAuto provides tools for publishing and browsing listings, user accounts, company profiles, private messages, favorites, saved searches, alerts, comparison and related informational tools. Unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, the operator is not a party to transactions concluded between users and does not receive payment for the advertised item or service.

3. Technical requirements

• A current web browser with JavaScript and cookies necessary for session security enabled.
• A working email address for account verification and service messages.
• The user is responsible for the security of their device, mailbox and account credentials.

4. Account and user obligations

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Use one account in accordance with its intended private or business status.
• Protect passwords, recovery codes and verification messages.
• Do not impersonate another person or transfer an account in a way that creates a risk to users.
• Report suspected account compromise without delay.

5. Listings and user content

A listing must concern a real item, service, need, job or project and use the correct category, type, price and location where applicable. The publisher confirms that they hold the rights necessary to publish text, images and other materials.

• The description must disclose material features and restrictions.
• Images must show the advertised subject and must not infringe third-party rights.
• Contact details should be provided only through fields intended for that purpose.
• Duplicate, misleading or keyword-stuffed listings may be limited or removed.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

• Illegal goods or services, fraud, phishing, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, prohibited weapons, controlled substances and content facilitating unlawful conduct.
• Misleading identity, false availability, false price, fabricated reviews or attempts to collect passwords, one-time codes or payment-card data.
• Malware, malicious links, spam, harassment, hate content, sexual exploitation, unlawful personal-data disclosure and infringement of intellectual-property rights.
• Circumvention of security, moderation, limits, account restrictions or technical protections.

7. Moderation and automated checks

Listings may be checked automatically and manually for risk, spam, duplicates, contact-data leakage, category accuracy and compliance with these rules. Safe listings may be published automatically. Uncertain cases may be monitored, returned for correction or referred to a moderator. Critical signals may prevent publication.

• Automated classification may correct a category or listing type only above the configured confidence threshold.
• The original and applied classification are recorded for audit purposes.
• A user may request human review where an automated or moderation decision materially affects publication.

8. Ranking and recommendations

Default ranking may take into account publication time, completeness, category and location relevance, quality and safety signals, duplication, seller diversity and paid promotion where clearly marked. No ranking guarantees sale, availability or trustworthiness.

9. Reports and appeals

Potentially illegal, fraudulent, prohibited, outdated or incorrectly classified content may be reported through the listing report function or the DSA contact. Decisions may include restriction, removal, suspension or no action. Where applicable, the affected user receives reasons and an appeal route.

10. Transactions and business sellers

• Users independently verify the counterparty, item, documents, delivery and payment method.
• A business seller is responsible for information and consumer duties applicable to their offer.
• The “business account” label is a declaration unless the profile is separately marked as verified.
• StartAuto does not guarantee the identity, solvency or performance of a user merely because an account or email is verified.

11. Paid features and advertising

If paid promotion or another paid service is enabled, the price, duration and material conditions are presented before purchase. Advertising is separated from service controls and is loaded only in accordance with applicable consent settings.

12. Suspension, termination and deletion

Access may be restricted for security, repeated or serious violations, abuse of the reporting system, legal obligations or non-payment for an enabled paid service. Users may request deletion of their account; data may be retained to the extent required by law, security or claims.

13. Complaints

Complaints concerning the electronic service may be sent to kontakt@podziel.pl. Include the account email, the affected function or listing, the date, a description of the issue and the requested resolution. The operator will respond without undue delay and, where consumer law applies, within the mandatory period.

14. Liability

The operator is responsible under mandatory law for operating the service. The operator is not responsible for the performance of user-to-user transactions, unlawful content not known to the operator before a valid notice, outages caused by force majeure or failures outside reasonable control, without prejudice to non-excludable rights.

15. Changes and governing law

Material changes will be communicated in a durable or account-visible form with an effective date. Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their place of residence.

Legal framework

The documents take into account the GDPR, the Digital Services Act, Polish rules on electronic services, electronic communications and mandatory consumer protection. Their final application depends on the operator’s actual business model and integrations.
